A great "kick"

I just ordered another 12 ounces of this strain after trialing 4 oz's a couple times. For me it is very energetic and has a great "kick" to it. In my opinion it could make a great (more chill) replacement to that morning cup of coffee.. of course, body chemistries may vary.

I've loved all the other shaman strains so far but this one seemed to fall flat for me. I was hoping for more especially since this is the same price for 2oz as the other more powerful strains (in my exprerience) for 4oz.
For a meang da I was expecting more. This incense left me extremely underwhelmed.

More energizing than red Maeng Da, it was a pleasant surprise and is really nice for a mid day boost. This strain will make its way into my regular rotation.

The aroma of this type of Maeng Da is generally more relaxing than others. Though the scent is still uplifting, it is also very potent.
Highly recommended.
Also, the bitterness of the aroma is more than most strains.

I was looking for a nice middle of the road. Trey's sample of the MDII was the right direction. A good starting point for new folks (the Emerald is another great comfortable strain). I'm mostly a comfy red strain guy.

This strain is excellent for pain relief and carries with it a nice, warming mood-boost. I agree with the previous review in that it isn't overly sedating or energetic. The aroma is definitely potent, subtly euphoric, nice and upbeat, but not jittery. That's not to say it isn't energetic, because it definitely IS, just not in a shaky, overwhelming way. For me this new Maeng Da II is neither sedating nor energizing. The feeling falls somewhere in the middle, allowing you to use this variety whether you feel like getting some yard work done or just sitting in your favorite chair with a good book. You're covered either way. In addition, this is an effective leaf, which leaves(haha) you high-functioning. I like it much better than the old MD.
